13 Reasons Why Season 4 Netflix Release Delayed Due To Tom Hanks’ Coronavirus Quarantine?

13 Reasons Why is an original Netflix series based on the famous eponymous book written by Jay Asher. It is adapted by Brian Yorkey and produced by Selena Gomez, starring Dylan Minnette and Katherine Langford.

Since its premiere, it has sparked great controversy for its claim to make latent problems visible to adolescents: from depression, bullying or abuse to suicide, violent radicalization or narcotic use.

And people are eagerly waiting for its fourth season since the day of its announcement.

Tom Hanks! The reason behind the 13 Reasons Why Season 4 delay?

Although Netflix has not confirmed a release date for this fourth installment, it was presumed that the premiere of 13 reasons why season 4 was going to hit on our screens in mid-2020.

But, the recent predictions says that there will be much more delay for the next season to come.

Despite the fact that Netflix has canceled filming of many series and films due to coronavirus threat, there is another reason for the delay in the new season of 13 Reasons Why. And the reason for this is perhaps Tom Hanks.

Yes, the delay in the release maybe because of Tom Hanks. A few months back there was a controversy that Tom Hank was among the cast of 13 Reasons Why Season 4 and was going to play one of the characters in the upcoming season.

However, recently he was suspected positive in the test for COVID-19, after returning from Australia.

It is believed that due to his busy schedule before and later being affected with coronavirus, he was not able to attend promotional events of 13 Reasons Why Season 4. And due to his absence, many of the events had to be postponed which ultimately caused the new season to face delay in its release.

So, when will 13 reasons why season 4 finally hit our screens?

The fourth season of 13 Reasons Why does not yet have an official premiere date, but chances are that the new episodes will hit Netflix in August or September 2020.
