13 Reasons Why Season 4: Release Date Rumors? Has Netflix Officially Announced Any Updates?

The most popular yet controversial American teen Netflix original web series has its audience at the edge of their seats as they long for the fourth season to drop.

Netflix announced the return of 13 Reasons Why for a fourth and final season on August 1, 2019.

13 Reasons Why Season 4: Release Date

Although no official release date has been announced owing to no set release pattern, the release date is open to speculation. The speculation can be based on a couple of things like how every year a fresh batch of episodes arrive and the production for season 4 was already underway as of August 1, 2019.

Ross Butler who plays Zach Dempsey in the series posted a rather emotional video on Instagram on 21st December 2019. “I just wrapped on the final season of 13 Reasons Why”, said Ross. He captioned the video as “Goodbye 13 Reasons Why, wrapped for the last time last night, still doesn’t feel real”, this indicates that the filming is probably already done with.

Based on all the available information our best bet is that the final season might land either in the mid or late 2020.

As for the trailer, Netflix has a history of forbearing trailers particularly for this series until just a couple of weeks before the launch hence the trailer will most likely pop just before the premiere.

13 Reasons Why Season 4: Cast

According to Netflix, the regular cast will remain and Hannah (Katherine Langford), Bryce (Justin Prentice) and Monty (Timothy Granaderos) will probably appear only in flashbacks, if at all. A new cast addition is anticipated —  oscar nominee Garry Sinise playing Dr Robert Ellman, family therapist who will treat Clay Jensen. That’s about all we know at the moment!

Stay tuned for further updates, we’re just as excited as you are!!
