High Seas (Alta Mar) will not have a season 4. The reports that came from Spain indicated that there won’t be a season 4, and season 3 is set to be the last season of the Spanish drama series.

In the mystery series, we saw that 2 women are on a luxurious cruise to Rio de Janeiro, everything seems to go well until a series of murders start taking place. High Seas was meant to be a 2 season series but it extended to season 3 and was expected to have a season 4 also, due to its popularity.

The series comes from Spanish production house Bambú Producciones.

Why There Won’t Be The Fourth Season For Alta Mar Or High Seas?

High seas were originally renewed for season 3 and season 4, a Spanish entertainment news portal (Bluper) first reported that High Seas will have season 3 and 4 before it comes to an end. Afterward, Bluper reported that the plan for season 4 has been thrown away.

One of the reasons for the cancellation of the show is the lack of marketing, although season 3 IMBD scores were great and favorable enough for a renewal of season 4, overall ratings of the show were not good.

The fourth season would have been filmed around somewhere near the time Covid-19 came into existence.
