Why #BoycottMirzapur2 Was Trending On Twitter?

When we investigated the grievances of the Twitter users which had made me call a boycott of Season 2 of Mirzapur that would release on October 23, 2020; we found out that they are angry because of some tweets of the main cast of this Amazon Prime series.

Some months ago, Ali Fazal who is playing the role of the main protagonist, Guddu Pandit, had tweeted something that has upset some people. So when the release date of Mirzapur’s Season 2 came, these old tweets of Ali Fazal surfaced on the internet and caused the hashtag #BoycottMirzapur2 to trend.
