Casey Bloys ( President Of HBO ), has now officially announced that the filming of season 2 of Euphoria will start in early 2021. Season 2 of the series was scheduled to begin its production from March 2020, but it was postponed due to the spread of the coronavirus pandemic. The production was closed until everything was under control and in a safe state.
Euphoria, starring Zenday became a hit for HBO since the release of its first season back in 2019.
Official Statements Regarding Release Of Euphoria Season 2
In an interview, Casey Bloys said that filming of Euphoria Season 2 is going to start from early 2021. The gap between Season 1 and season 2 will be almost 2 years, but Bloys said that fans should keep their excitement high as he is storing something very exciting for them. They are planning to film a special Covid-19 episode to fill the gap between Season 1 and Season 2. This episode will be as thrilling and exciting as that of episodes of Season 1.

The final episode of Season 1 was named “And Salt The Earth Behind You”, and in it, we saw Rue getting involved in a bizarre musical sequence, Jules left for the metro city. Kat and Ethan unite at the winter formal, Cassie was busy in her abortion. Maddy was swiping evidence from Nate’s Room that could expose the real face of Nate’s father.
Expected Release Date Of Euphoria Season 2
Because of the coronavirus pandemic, the production of season 2 hasn’t started yet, despite the company’s plan of releasing season 2 this year. After the end of the Emmy awards 2020, Casey said in an interview that you can accept season 2 to get released in late 2021 or early 2022.
On Jimmy Kimmel Live, Zendaya I’ve also given the hint that they are planning to release a special episode to bridge the gap between Season 1 and Season 2.
