In a recent online interview, David Schwimmer, one of the lead casts of our favorite show Friends, has opened up about the reunion and has confirmed it. The 53yr old actor, who played the role of Ross Geller, has said that everything has been planned out, only how to process the plan is the main situation.
The show Friends, directed by David Crane and Martha Kaufman is one of the most popular sitcoms of all time. It had entertained generations after generations with its definition of friendship and love. The show first aired on 22nd September 1994 and had the best solid ten seasons
It was premeired on NBC network on every Thursday. After 24 years of its release, all the six lead actors of the show, Courtney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Jennifer Aniston, Matt Leblanc, David Schwimmer, and Mathew Perry and its director David Crane and Martha Kaufman had agreed on to appear once again in a special one-hour episode on HBO Max.
Friends Reunion: Release Date
The episode was supposed to be dropped on 21st March 2020. But due to the outbreak of COVID-19, the production of the event had to be put on hold. Along with all other releases and events, even the reunion was postponed until everything resumes normalcy.
So after so many months, in an interview, David Schwimmer was asked if the reunion is still taking place or not. Without any hesitation, Schwimmer answered the reunion is definitely happening. Everything has been sorted out, but until there is any betterment in the current situation, it won’t be safe for everyone. The production will start as soon as it is safe for everyone.
