Friends Reunion: Will Show Premiere With HBO Max’s Launch Next Month

We all have been waiting for Friends Reunion for so long, but it is guessed that it is safe to say that we have to wait a bit longer. Back in February 2020, HBO Max announced that all the six lead actors of our beloved show should appear under the same frame in an unscripted, one-hour special episode.

Friends last premiered on 6th May 2004, that is 16 years ago. But still, it is one of the most-watched and loved shows. It has entertained for generations. The special episode was supposed to take place in March, but due to the present emergency, everything has been put on hold.

Due to the outbreak of Coronavirus pandemic, all release schedules and production processes have been put on hold. It has been ordered by all governments from around the world to stay indoors and maintain social distancing. One is not supposed to be in a room with more than ten people in it. And if the Reunion would have taken place then, there would have been hundreds of fans in the studio, as it is supposed to be a live show.

Keeping everything in mind, the reunion has been delayed for some months, and unless everything is back to normalcy, nothing much can be assumed.

In an online post, HBO Max stated that though it has been delayed, there is nothing to worry about. The Reunion shall grandly take place, and the episode shall be full of surprises. All six actors;  Jennifer Aniston, Courtney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, Matt Leblanc,  Mathew Perry along with Martha Kaufman and David Crane shall be appearing, and all famous clips of the series, rare behind the scenes clips shall be shown.

It all sums up to the fact that the Reunion would be worth the wait. Until further details, stay tuned and stay safe!
