Grey Anatomy story writes are going to address this Coronavirus pandemic in their upcoming season plotline.
One of the shows executive producer Krista Vernoff told that they had some discussions with real doctors on the ground reality, which they are going to reflect in their upcoming season. Krista said that the pain to realize what the doctors are going through daily because of this pandemic.
The members of Grey Anatomy donated gowns and gloves to the healthcare workers in March.
The writers of the series are working very hard to get the scripts for their upcoming new season, for all these writing sessions they had to talk to medical personnel for good story ideas.
Krista told that they are taking with the doctors who are telling their stories. She said that the doctor is telling their worst or their craziest or their funniest stories with a joyful kind of laughing. She feels that this year taking to the doctors has felt more like therapy.
The show executive producers also said that they are the first person who the doctors talk about their experiences which they are having while treating a COVID patient. She said that the doctors are crying and shaking while telling their stories. The doctors said that this is a kind of war that they were not trained for.
Though Krista didn’t reveal more about the storyline, it is crystal clear that they are going to show this pandemic situation in season 17.
