Netflix might be planning to send its science fiction series ‘Lost In Space’ to the next round, and we think its time for the Robinsons to level up!
Season 2 of Netflix’s Sci-Fi drama ‘Lost In Space‘ premiered in December 2019, and since then, the fans have been asking for its third installment. It’s been over a year since the Robinson family’s journey in Lost in Space began on Netflix. The remake of the cult series of the same name from the 1960s accompanies the family of five under the leadership of Professor John Robinson (Toby Stephens) on their odyssey through the vastness of space.
In the second installment of the fiction, created and written by Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless, the Robinsons find themselves stranded in the depths of space and join together as a family and with their travel companions to explore unknown planets, face new dangers and find To his beloved robot.
In a conversation about Season 3, showrunner Matt Sazama said,
“I mean you know that the Robinson family will continue forever. But the story we started with the pilot with the robots and everything else we want to have, we know what the ending is,”
“There is a very satisfactory conclusion to that story. More stories can happen after that. I like that there is a clear story when you see Will in the first season driver,” Sharpless added.
The third season of Lost In Space still does not has a release date yet, nor the streaming giant has confirmed the renewal of Sci-Fi for season 3. But the recent statements from the showrunners confirm the rumors regarding Season 3 plans, and we assume that Netflix will soon drop an official confirmation about its renewal for the fans.
