When will season 5 release?

As of now, there is no official release date. Due to the shutdown of productions around the world amid the coronavirus pandemic, My Hero Academia has also been delayed. The fifth season was announced in the finale of the fourth season and as well as in the Weekly Shonen Jump Magazine, in April 2020. Initially, it was expected to be released by December 2020. However, due to the delay, it may now be released around mid-2021. Although we do not have any confirmation regarding the release, mid-2021 just sounds about the right time to release the fifth season.

Further, we can expect the fifth season to be 25 episodes long like the previous season. It would be surprising if it is less then that.

There will also be developed on the villain side of the story. The fourth season did not conclude it instead just hinted towards more sinister things to come. Moreover, Shigaraki, the main villain is also growing stronger with Ll for One is lurking in the shadows with an agenda yet to fulfill.
