The superhit crime drama series on Netflix, Ozark is soon coming up with it’s the fourth season. Created by Bill Dubuque and Mark Williams, it is one of the most popular dramas of Netflix. The series has received a lot of positive reviews and has been critically acclaimed. Jason Bateman not only serves as the lead actor of the series but also as the director and executive producer. He has been awarded for Outstanding Directing For Drama Series, and the series has received 14 nominations at Primetime Emmy Awards.
The story revolves around a married couple, who suddenly had to relocate their family from Naperville to Osage Beach, Missouri. After a money-laundering scheme goes wrong, they set a more significant money-laundering operation in the Lake of the Ozarks.
Nothing has been declared about season four yet. There are supposed to be five seasons in total. The second season aired on 31st August 2018 and the third season on 27th March 2020. Since it has only been a month, nothing has been mentioned about renewing the series yet.
According to the release schedule, the fourth season is expected to be released in summer 2021. Though one more significant reason why Netflix hasn’t yet renewed it could be the current situation. Due to the outbreak of Coronavirus, many schedules are getting cancelled. It is impossible to do the filming now.
In case of the cast, Jason Bateman and Laura Linney undoubtedly will be returning as Marty and Wendy Bryde. Sofia Hublitz as Charlotte, Skylar Gaertner as Jonah, Jordana Spiro as Rachel, Jason Butler Harner as Roy and others will be reprising their roles. Many new characters might get added in season four as there are no confirmed reports regarding that.
