One of the best crime drama series on BBC One, Peaky Blinders is soon coming up with its sixth season. The series has been created by Steven Knight and was first aired on 12th September 2013. Initially, the series used to get premiered on BBC Two but later on after the fourth season, it got shifted to BBC One. It is one of the most-watched series with 7.5 million viewership and has won several awards including the Best Drama Series at 2018 BAFTA TV Awards.
The series is based on the 19th-century urban youth gang under the same name in Birmingham, followed by the aftermath of World War I. It revolves around outrageous and cunning Tommy Shelby. He leads his criminal family when Chief Inspector Chester Campbell decides to put an end to his activities and him.

The makers have officially renewed season 6 and have confirmed that after the completion of Season 7, a spin-off will follow. The production of the upcoming season had begun earlier this year but had to be put on hold due to the outbreak of COVID-19.
