There is no doubt that this coronavirus global pandemic is literally taking everyone and everything down with it. But this is literally sad that the top-ranked tennis player Novak Djokovic tested positive for the coronavirus after he took part in the exhibition series of tennis tournaments which he organized in Serbia as well as Croatia. But he is not the only one to be tested positive after the first player playing in Belgrade, Zadar, and later Croatia. The wife of Novak is also tested positive with the virus. But thankfully the coronavirus report of children is negative.

No doubt it is a very tough time for every citizen of the country which is the reason why Djokovic has been critically criticized for organizing a tennis tournament in such a situation and also engaging other players from all over the country where that directly increases the outbreak as well as the risk of the virus in individuals involved.

The main reason for this criticization was that Viktor Troicki’s sad Tuesday was the day the player and his pregnant wife have been tested positive for the virus while the other two players Grigor Dimitrov and Borna Coric stated that it was Monday, Sunday, and Saturday where the player was tested positive. This is a literal shame to create danger and make the lives of other players also on stake. And above all, it was also observed that there were no social distancing measures followed in the tournament or in either country. The worst part is that despite being tested positive for the virus defended and organized the exhibition series.

Unfortunately, the virus is still present so we all have to be cautious not only with ourselves but to our family members and people around us. After realizing his mistake the player stated that he will remain in self-isolation for two weeks and also apologized for his behavior and being responsible which also affected the series and health of other players.
