The Big Bang Theory. One of the most popular shows of all time on the screen. There is nothing to argue about that. However, as all good things come to an end, this did too. With the release of the 12th season, the show was confirmed to have come to an end in 2019. I was as upset as any of you and wanted for the show to air for at least one more season. So this brings us to the rumors about the 13th season. Is it happening? Are those rumors true?
Is the 13th Season of The Big Bang Theory Happening?
First of all, let us see what is the rumor exactly and where did it start from? Back in 2017 when CBS announced its 2017-18 fall schedule, CBS Chief Executive Len Moonves announced that season 11 and 12 will not be the last of it. However, it wasn’t confined by CBS and it was eventually announced that season 12 is the final one. However, recently in May 2020 a claiming to be CBS employee said that he has been confirmed of the news of the 13th season to be happening.
Just got confirmation from my boss that TBBT Season 13 is going ahead despite the fact that the 12th Season was supposed to be the finale

He said that it will just be 2 episodes long and would tell about the life of the characters after the finale. Perhaps it might give us a look at Leonard and Penny’s child. Moreover, he also said that Jim Parson’s would not be joining them as he thinks it is more of a cash grab. Instead, Brad Pitt will be taking his place. He also gave a release date, stating February 2021 for CBS and March 2021 on E4.
So is the rumor true?
Sadly, it has been confirmed to be fake news and the 13th season is not happening. However, it is still a bit difficult for us to accept it and we actually cannot let go of the hope for the 13th season.
