One of the popularly well known psychological thrillers, You is soon coming up with its third season on Netflix. It is an American crime drama that has been adapted by Sera Gamble and Greg Berlanti,  from the novel You: The Hidden Bodies by Caroline Kepnes. The series has created a considerable buzz since its first premiere on 9th September 2018 on Lifetime network. After the positive reviews received in the first season, the second season was renewed. It grossed over 43 million viewers in a short period, making it a commercial and critical success.

The plot revolves around a charming bookstore manager, who falls in love with one of the fellow customers. Later on, his feeling towards her turns into an obsession that makes him reach any extent to achieve her. With time he becomes a serial killer who gets stuck with his traumatic past and toxic present.

Has The Series Been Renewed For Season 3?

The series has been officially renewed for the third installment. According to sources, the production process shall start soon. It had been put on hold due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. All release and production schedules had been delayed for the past few months. But it seems that gradually everything is resuming back to normalcy.

Release Date For Season 3?

There has been no official announcement regarding the release date of Season 3. The second season was aired on 26th December 2019. So if the release schedule is to be followed then, Season 3 should drop sometime between November and December of 2020. But due to current circumstances, it has been notified that Season 3 shall be airing in 2021. If the production gets wrapped up by this year, then the third season can be expected to drop by the summer of 2021.

Is There A Trailer For Season 3?

No trailer has been launched for the upcoming season. Usually, the teaser trailer is released a month or two before the release of the new season. We hope to get hold of some updates soon until then, stay tuned!
